I have also included the web sites for the foreign country embassies; some times parents want to stay for a little while in Germany, England or the Netherlands before continuing on home. Although the tourist information is directed at American citizens, the web sites provide contact information to find out what will be required for your child. Some airports are no longer allowing overnight visas issued at airports as they did in the past (as a Kazakh citizen your child will need a visa to leave a European airport); talk with your agency or contact the appropriate Embassy.

Marriott has four hotels in Moscow. I can tell you from personal experience that the Grand location is wonderful. They are supposed to have an adoption rate, but you need to ask. On their web site, you get the adoption rate by entering A23 under corporate rate/promotional code; ATKD and A22 have also been used.
Sheraton Palace Hotel : more adoptive parents have been trying this hotel.
Adopting from Russia has information from adoptive parents on the hotels in Moscow as well as sight-seeing suggestions. This site also has information about Airlines that fly from Moscow to the US, and hotels in Amsterdam (if flying KLM you have to spend the night here because of the timing of the flights).
See the Travel Agents page for assistance in planning your travel.
